Books By The Beach

The Scarborough Literature Festival - which I thoroughly enjoyed in 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 - is returning again in 2014.

There has been a degree of regeneration and the festival is now known as Books by the Beach and will run from 24-27 April. There are a couple new venues too, although the magnificent Scarborough Library Concert Hall will still feature heavily.

Guests this year include Joanne Harris, Peter Snow, Kate Adie, Greta Scacchi and Joanna Trollope.

Co-Directors Heather French and Peter Guttridge - both ever-presents in the years attended the festival - will, without doubt, deliver another fine programme of literary excellence.

For the full details, please head for the official Books by the Beach website.
