Project 30 Conclusion

Project 30 has now reached its conclusion.

The final event was the Problem Solving Competition and a report on that very enjoyable event can be found here.

The main summary of events can be found here and it really brings home just how much extra chess there has been over the course of the 2017-8 school year.

Players of all ages and abilities participated in the various parts of Project 30 and I would like to thank everyone for their help and support.

It cost me a small fortune in hard cash and several oceans of time but it was worth all of that see everyone enjoying the events.

Given the great success of the venture, I have decided to return various parts of Project 30 to the calendar for 2018-9. I also have some new ideas which are ambitious and may or may not come to fruition. You will only hear of them if they are achievable but for now the cards will stay close to the chest.

Further details will be released in due course but I can tell you the first event will feature a titled player and it will go ahead in August.

Stay tuned for further updates!
