The Bohemians: A Night of Queen
Civic Theatre, Darlington
31.7.2014 |
I was never a big fan of Queen but have grown to like them more over the last few years. So I was happy to give The Bohemians a try as they rock 'n' rolled their way to Darlington last week.

The show started off quite slowly, with The Bohemians playing a number of more obscure tracks. However, as the costume changes started occurring, and we hit Killer Queen, it became apparent we were following a chronological narrative instead of a typical grab-bag tribute.

The hair got shorter on ''Freddie'' as the evening progressed, culminating in the classic Live Aid persona and a whole slew of hits. In fact the show built up the pace in fine style and the second half had a lot of the sell-out audience on their feet, dancing and singing along.

All in all, it was a very entertaining evening. Visit the
The Bohemians website for further details of this impressive tribute band.
